Ventera Wins HHS ContractMcLean, VA - February 18, 2003 - Ventera Corporation today announced that it is one of six small businesses awarded the Professional Information Technology Services contract to provide a full range of IT services to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), a federal agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Under the agreement Ventera will help CMS modernize the way in which it handles information related to Medicare and Medicaid programs and provide a higher level of service to individuals under the programs. Specific activities will include software development, software and systems documentation, project management and IT training. The maximum value of the contract is $600 million. It includes a one-year base period with four one-year options.
