Ventera Receives Community Service Award, "Leading by Example"

McLean, VA - February 28, 2006 -- Ventera Corporation has received the "My Business Cares Seal of Social Responsibility" by Greater DC Cares, Greater Washington's leading coordinator of volunteerism and corporate philanthropy. Greater DC Cares President and CEO Siobhan Canty said awardees are "Leading by example; making contributions to their communities and making it easy for employees to volunteer in their own neighborhoods."

Greater DC Cares recognized Ventera for providing employees with time off to volunteer during work hours, and for donating more than $30,000 to local charities. One of the organizations Ventera supports is The Neediest Kids which provides at-risk school children basics such as meals, clothing, shoes, and school supplies. These help the children attend and be successful in school.
