Ventera Part of Winning Team for IT Strategic Planning Contract

McLean, VA - April 25, 2006 - Working as a subcontractor to global human capital consultancy Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Ventera Corporation has been awarded a task order contract to support the United States Institute for Peace (USIP), an independent, nonpartisan institution whose mission is to promote peace worldwide.

Watson Wyatt and Ventera will conduct a comprehensive assessment, evaluation, and analysis of USIP's IT and network systems. They will provide USIP with a comprehensive five-year IT Strategic Plan that will guide future USIP IT projects. During the course of the project, the team will evaluate and analyze USIP's desktop systems, server systems, network infrastructure, IT security policies and procedures, back-up, recovery, and disaster response preparedness, data storage needs, procurement and maintenance operations, help desk operations, and compliance with federal regulations.

The consulting team will use Ventera's proven Strategy-to-Solution (S2S) methodology as the framework for the project. S2S is a comprehensive approach to defining IT solutions that will help the team align USIP's IT assets to its business strategy, and ensure a measurable return-on-investment for all IT investments.
