Ventera Corporation Joins the Ubiquity Developer Network to Accelerate the Development of Carrier-based SIP Applications

McLean, Virginia- August 8 - Ventera Corporation, a privately held systems integrator and application development company based in McLean, Virginia, has joined the recently announced Ubiquity Developer Network (UDN).

Ubiquity Software's UDN community is dedicated to expanding and accelerating commercial applications based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) standard. Ventera will work with other members of the Ubiquity network to expand the availability of a broad range of new multimedia Internet applications.

SIP has become accepted as a mature and commercially viable Internet Protocol (IP) standard.
